Welcome Home, Earl

I was greeted back to the island with a warm welcome from Hurricane Earl. We managed to steer clear of any serious danger, but the eerie feeling from the Sunday night "sunset" wasn't exactly comforting. Here are a few pics of what I saw a few hours after I arrived back on Nevis for semester number 4.

As my third semester of medical school is coming to a close, the stress level around the island is at an all time high. This has proven to be my toughest semester yet, and I can only assume the trend will continue next semester. With all the studying and test-taking going on, we’re always looking for a way to squeeze in a little R and R. We finished our “shelf” exams (the most important exams of the semester) last week, and celebrated with a little relaxation time around the pool, and some good food on the grill.
